glucose and sleep

this has gotta be the longest blogging hiatus ever.
well least it feels like it.

july was when i was supposed to start being proactive. and indeed it has.
i finally settled me medical at NUS. and got some inside info that my chem engine fac mates are mainly from china and born in 1988. i better go do something bout my transfer FAST.

and the weekend before that i went flying with dad in desaru on his new trike. first time i went up. first time we did sea and land landings. the boats got retractable wheels see. so dad gets to choose where he wants to land. problem was i went clubbing the previous night at zouk. and WAIT. have i blogged about this yet?. lol never mind. so i didnt sleep at all the previous morning. was SO sleepy that day.. think i pissed dad off alot cos i was like dozin off everywhere. ha. i was his cameraman in the air. no photos yet sorry. just videos. one hour plus of videoing made me even more tired. ha.

k then tue to fri was the nationals. for those who dunno. it was the national interschool sailing championships. i took part in seven of those. and i've been coach for two. so my involvement must be quite alot already aye!. i spent quite alot of effort on these. put my heart and soul into alot of things. and it was tough yet fulfilling at the same time. being the pillar of strength to some. being the source of help when parts got broken and answers were needed. and being the shoulder to cry on. and also playing coach altogether made it one hell of an experience.
eventually the girls won 2nd. and the guys came in 5th. the girls won by a mere whisker. i think the mjc girls cried alot more than we did. haha. poor sods. maybe they hire me next time. and the boys had so many rollercoasters in two days i also cant believe it.

vjc dominated the entire competition. simply cos they have the national team in their school.
and the sajc is closing down so im basically working with half a team. only j2s and no j1s less fidelis. yulin and jiayi sailing the 420 won the second place for us. they only started learning to sail a year ago. and yet they sail in a manner only people with aptitude can. they have the attitude of good students, earnest and willing to learn. and combined, i think they will make a strong pairing if they choose to sail for the future. they were truly the difference between mjc and sajc this year. the guys, well, heaven didnt look too kindly on us. and i only wish if we had more time more training and more luck. then people can see what the team could finish. my guys team consists of 4 people. together they sail 3 boats. which is the bare minimum. vjc has twice as many if not more. more room for error definitely. and vjc sailed alot more boats too.
anyways. 2005 nationals was a blast. im out of a job. and school is starting soon.

on another note. since i've been spending alot of time with sailing people. and sengleongs been busy with siobhan, i've hung out alot more with chris maxi and jackson they all. they're a bag of laughs man i tell you. i really cannot laugh any harder already. with zhichao justinwong and all.
hope maxis leg gets better after zhichao crashed his bike into maxis and put a nasty wound on his knee. maxis going youth worlds on tue. so its quite important for him la. and then i realise. i've been hanging out with people ALOT younger than me. cos those older are more busy and less fun definitely. maxi is 16. chris is 17. justin wong and zhichao cant be older than them.
haha interesting. girls also. griselda is 13. the girl who presented the letter to IOC president jacques rogge? shes quite pretty. hahahaha.

going clubbing and staying out late this week hasnt helped really. mambo was great.
but the girls really pangsehed me. i dont club if its not free sorts. but i made an exception on wed. cos nicole juliana and claire all said they were going. and i havent met the latter two for long so, forgetting that i have work at 9am the next morning, i went down and paid 23 bucks. ...
when i got there. only claire was there. and the other two decided NOT to go. wahlaoeh. i was like... "i see ian" "i see greg" "i dont see shaun" "i see eugene" I SEE THESE PEOPLE OFTEN LAH. wahlaoeh. maybe not eugene but u get the point. thankfully eugene is a good mambo partner. and dorothy and jennifer were there with me for abit. havent seen dorothy in ages. being busy winning competitions and all. so it was such a pleasant surprise. met up with her for a short dinner after work on thursday before she went to meet enwei. at siglap cartel. i think dot frequents siglap too much. haha.

so then yday-sat- me shaun ian greg and jh and nicole and liwen went to sentosa for some err. tanning.
CAI DOESNT NEED TANNING by the way. i just went along for the sake of going cos of the guys. was okay.
training to be pro at frisbee..lol.

lingyu, can u look after your leg abit?. later your long holiday is up and u cannot even step out of the house very sad uknow. i know u wanna be ethiopian long distance runner and pole vault world champion all. dont kanchiong k. u have a good week.
