the central escapades

it was like the great divide.

i was here and she was there.
i was rushing to the lift.
she was waiting in the lift.
she saw me scurrying like a rat.
i looked up and saw two obese people in front of me.
i contemplated bashing my way through.
she knew i was caught in two minds.
she giggled and smiled at my predicament.

then the elevator door shut and that was it.
finish.


but that made my day still.
