Joy
Work is a reality for a large proportion of us.
and it takes up a large proportion of our time.
If we do not find joy in our work, how little joy will we have in our lives.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves and say we need to love our work. please.

i have a love-hate relationship with mine. its like having a significant other, some days, you just want to avoid and not pick up their calls because they're there to nag nag nag at you ("oh you still haven't finished project AA?", "why doesn't the code work?") and there's this looming dread.
other days, i feel so fulfilled by it. i pour a lot of loving energy into it and feel this rush of pleasure when i get good results.
sometimes, i have to go to bed with it and the morning after ain't always a pretty sight (dammit you're still here???)
