its like, some recreational sailor sailing with me.

and got food poisoning on my first night over at hall.
so im back home now.
its the worse bout of food poisoning ever.
isaac's birthday celeb was smashing.
alot of nice people. hot girls for isaac.
fantastic food which i cant help but think caused my misfortune.
although im the only one sick.

well you see, we won gold medal in the keelboat class.
5 people there all deserving winners.
chin was the singaporesailing top pick as skipper.
roy and peiming had high priority after their 470 campaign didnt work out.
ivan was brought in with his experience.
justin wong was an established crew and highly qualified bowman.

when peiming injured his hand and ruled himself out,
one slot opened up.
renfred took it and promptly took the money as well.

it might feel abit wasted, since many of us were in the running.
i felt that i probably would be able to squeeze into the original five up there as well.
but seriously, for claritys sake. there's no point crying over spilt milk.
i should have gone, but come on lah who has the benefit of future information?
i have learnt that opportunities come and go, and i must learn to drop everything and take them
and not hang on to what i have in life.

renfred deserves it. without a doubt. he fought for the spot, quit school at the drop of a hat.
and now has a gold medal sitting somewhere in his house.
in many aspects he has qualities i dont. bravery and committment being some of them.

so, to missed opportunities, i say, keep going.
